Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of European Union Regulation 2016/679/EU

On this page, the Data Controller provides information on the processing of personal data relating to Users visiting or consulting the website accessible at Internet address The information provided relates only to the Data Controller's website and not to other websites which may be consulted by the User via links (for which please refer to the respective websites’ personal data protection policies). The use of the website by the User, including access via tablet and/or smartphone, implies full knowledge and acceptance of the content and information included in this version of the policy, published by the Data Controller at the time of access to the website.

Type, purpose and legal basis of personal data processing
Browsing data

Access to the website does not require the User's personal details to be entered, but the transmission of browsing data is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects but, by its very nature and by way of association and processing with data held by third parties, it could allow Users to be identified. This data may be used to enable and/or improve browsing on our website. In particular, we may become aware of the following information IP address and addresses in URI notation

The time a request was made, method used to submit the request to the server, size of the file obtained in response, numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) Other parameters relating to the User's operating system and type of computer This data could also be used to ascertain liability in the event of computer offences to the detriment of the website.

Data provided by the User

The processing relates to personal data voluntarily provided by the User when interacting with the website's functions or requesting use of the services offered on the website.


The provision of data entered by filling in forms on the website is necessary in order to be able to publish comments and respond to requests. The legal basis for processing for these purposes is provided by the consent given by the User. The provision of certain personal data by the User is obligatory in order to allow to manage communications, requests received from the User or to contact the User in order to follow up on any requests. This type of data is marked with an asterisk [*] and in such cases the provision of data is obligatory in order to allow the request to be followed up, failing which it cannot be processed. Conversely, provision of data not marked with an asterisk is optional and failure to provide same shall entail no impediment for the User. In the event that the User leaves comments on the website as a visitor, the data shown in the comments form is collected, in addition to the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string in order to facilitate spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (otherwise known as a hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see whether the email address is in use. Users uploading images to the website should avoid images that include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. The legal basis for processing for these purposes is provided by the User's consent (Article 6 of Regulation 2016/679/EU) The User undertakes responsibility for the personal data of third parties obtained, published or shared through this application and guarantees that he/she has the right to communicate or disseminate same, releasing the Data Controller from any liability towards third parties. With reference to the aspects of personal data protection, the User is invited, pursuant to Article 33 of Regulation 2016/679/EU, to report to the Data Controller any circumstances or events from which a potential data breach may arise, in order to allow for immediate assessment and adoption of any action aimed at countering such an event. The processing is intended to enable the Data Controller to perform all the formalities connected with donation, including activities instrumental thereto (e.g. communications regarding payments, donation summaries) and all that is necessary to comply with applicable regulations (tax, civil law, administrative) or other legal obligations of the Data Controller. Processing for these purposes is based on the relationship established between the Data Controller and the data subject relating to the support and fulfilment of legal obligations by the Data Controller. The provision of all data necessary to manage donations is obligatory, failing which, it will be impossible to provide this form of support. Contact activities, solely for these purposes, may take place by means of both traditional methods (post and telephone calls by operator on landlines and mobile numbers) and by email and text messaging. The PayPal Service permits non-disclosure of data to access the User's funds and excludes the possibility of accessing the means of payment (bank card and account details). A “cookie” is a text file that may be stored in a dedicated space on the hard drive of the device used by the User (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when the User visits the website using their browser and may be subject to the User's consent. Cookies make it possible to identify the device where the cookie is stored for as long as the cookie is valid or registered. Type: WordPress technical cookie. cookieyes-consent | Purpose: facilitates the User's browsing by preventing the short-term information on cookies in the banner from reappearing in the case of links to the website made before the expiry date. Type: WordPress Cookie Notification plugin cookie. wp-settings-2 | This cookie is used by WordPress to customize the display of the administration interface and possibly also the main website interface. Duration: 1 year. Type: WordPress technical cookie. wordpress_sec_[hash] | WordPress Access Controls. This cookie is used to store authentication details. Its use is limited to the administration console area \wp-admin\.

wordpress_test_cookie | Purpose: This cookie is set when the User’s accesses the login page. The cookie is used to check whether the User's browser is set to allow or reject cookies. Duration: session, ends when the browser is closed. Type: WordPress technical cookie. wordpress_logged_in_[hash]: This is a login cookie. Login cookies contain authentication details and are used when a User logs in to the WordPress administration dashboard. According to the WordPress Codex, a couple of different session cookies are set: upon login, WordPress uses the wordpress_[hash] cookie to store authentication details (limited to the / wp-admin / area). PHPSESSID | Purpose: This cookie allows websites to store serialization status data. It is used on the website to establish a User session and to communicate status data via a temporary cookie, commonly referred to as a session cookie. Duration: session, ends when the browser is closed. Type: PHP native technical cookie. wp_lang | stores language settings. pll_language | | stores the language settings.

Profiling cookies uses third-party profiling cookies to track browsing, improving the quality of the service provided and offering a better browsing experience in line with the User's tastes. In particular, the website uses cookies from social media platforms, managed by the third parties involved. These cookies are necessary to allow a social media account to interact with the website and allow the User to like and share with friends. Such cookies are not necessary for browsing.

Method of Processing and Storage of Personal Data

Processing is performed both manually and with the aid of electronic or other computerized means by the Data Controller in order to store, manage and transmit the data. The data are processed in accordance with the principles of correctness, fairness and transparency provided for by current legislation on the protection of personal data and safeguarding of confidentiality by way of technical and organizational security measures aimed at preventing loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access to the data. In particular, guarantees the utmost confidentiality of the information provided by the User, which is sent via a protected connection using S.S.L. technology: the S.S.L. protocol is issued, certified and guaranteed by the hosting provider. The data provided to may be processed by all the data processors appointed in writing by the Data Controller and trained with respect to the obligations of law on processing of personal data. Communication and dissemination of data

The data collected as part of the provision of the service may be communicated to:
Public authorities and administrations for purposes connected with the fulfilment of legal obligations or to ascertain liability in the event of computer offences to the detriment of the website Third parties who provide computer and internet services (e.g. hosting, website management and development services) which the Data Controller uses to perform tasks and activities, including technical and organizational activities which are instrumental to the functioning of the website.

Transfer of data to a Third Country
The personal data collected through the website may be transferred outside Italy, only and exclusively for the performance of the services requested by way of the website and in compliance with the specific provisions of the Regulation. Some personal data may be shared with recipients located outside the European Economic Area. The Data Controller shall ensure that the processing of personal data by these recipients takes place in compliance with the Regulation.
Duration of data retention

The data will be stored for the period of time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and in any case no longer than 10 years for civil law, tax and accounting purposes. If a User leaves a comment, such comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. In this way, automatic recognition and approval of any subsequent comments can be performed without the need for holding in a queue for moderation.

User Rights

Pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation, the User, as data subject, is entitled to exercise specific rights concerning his or her personal data. In particular, the User has the right to obtain
